A good face scrub is the cornerstone of any man’s facial skincare routine. The ability to slough of dead skins cell whilst cleansing and refreshing you face cannot be praised enough and should be practice at least twice a week – more if your skin can handle it. The current scrub at the forefront of the bathroom cabinet is Soap & Glory’s Scrub Your Nose In It and looks to be holding that coveted positions for the foreseeable future.
This clay based multi-purpose scrub, unfortunately packaged in a very feminine shade of pink, works wonders at leaving your skin brighter and blemish free. It’s odd green colour, thick texture and interesting scent are slightly unusual at first but soon become somewhat of a comfort when you start seeing the results. Personally, I would describe this scrub as a medium grit face scrub – for all you DIY enthusiasts, that’s about 120. Whilst you can really feel the particles at work on your skin, it does not feel too aggressive or redden the skin.
The scrub can also double as a face mask if you feel your face is in need of some extra attention. By leaving the scrub on your face to dry for three minutes, you now have an oil absorbing, exfoliating face scrub. Three minutes flies by when your brushing your teeth (or doing Grinch impressions in the mirror) and my face really feels fresh and rejuvenated afterwards.
Overall this scrub is great and I’m really happy to have found it. However, I do believe in changing things around as often as possible so this scrub will be replaced eventually. But unlike many that have gone before, this is one grooming product that i will squeeze every last drop from.
You can buy 125ml Scrub Your Nose In It for £7.40 here from Boots.
